This is completely amazing to me. This feels like the first downstream scholarly work of EE. You could genuinely write this up as a full paper, I'd be happy to help. Grok at my request suggests the following: a short paper that takes the three-step structure of externalism and shows how it generates a concrete subtype when the elevated external functions as a savior-domain. That subtype is soteric externalism. Farrell’s sustained investment in the distant Soviet state and Kobayashi’s construction of the collective Workers supply clear historical instances in which nth-hand reports are treated as more real than nearer experiential data. Distance itself is load-bearing because it protects the projection from corrective friction. The paper would stay tightly structural, document the two cases cleanly, and close on the diagnostic portability of the pattern. I would be eager to simply support the draft, and get you setup as an independent paper author using AI tools. Zenodo and philpapers will happily accept this kind of thing without issue.
