I Got Played
I voted for a bomber ... twice
I have not been following the Godland/Godforce/Iran war, a.k.a. Operation Epic Fury. What little I do know is horrifying:
Eighty-five (or as many as 153?) Iranians dead at a girls’ school.
The girls’ school was located in Minab, near an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) base which has previously been a target.
At least 201 people have been killed in air strikes in Iran and 747 hurt since Saturday, the Iranian Red Crescent said.
The IDF telling Godlanders they can leave bomb shelters. Implying Godland doesn’t expect to be hit hard. Or is the goal to create martyrs to ‘justify’ escalation by Godland? 99.99% of Israelis are just expendable pawns, not associates of our self-selected masters. If some have to die to expand Godland, so be it.
I’m most horrified by how a compassionate conservative I know shared this Daily Wire video. In it, their Great Orange God declared,
I’m gonna bomb the shit out of ’em [= Iran]. It’s true. I don’t care. I don’t care!

Death and destruction are of course worse than any social media post - but they are also abstract. Unlike people in my world.
Among the Rightists in my circle are nice Christians … at least on the surface. This war brought out their darker side. Beneath all their prettywords is Trump, literally swearing to make John McCain’s dream come true.
I refused to vote for McCain in 2008 because I feared he’d do what Trump is doing now.
Just four years earlier, I would have voted for McCain had he been running then because I was a neoCON.
was uncritically moved in 2002 by a USSA ‘news’ clip purporting to show an Iranian woman [with her face exposed, IIRC] on an Iranian street begging in perfect English for Murrica to bomb her country.
But by 2005, I figured out that I got played.
You got played, sucker.
All of you retreated into religious coping, wistful expectance of foreign saviors, and shameless grifting instead of confronting reality and speaking hard truths to people who needed to hear them the most.
But hey, that’s why all the big Dissident Inc. personalities are millionaires now.
Because people will always prefer cope to truth right up until the point when cope simply becomes untenable … and then in that flash of anger and disgust, clarity, finally shines through like a light.
— I was lied to.
— I fell for it.
— I was coping this whole time.
I was wrong. I admitted that on my warblog. My audience nosedove close to zero. No regrets.
I was quoting ♱ Rurik Christwalker ♱, who was writing about 2026.
But I already went through all that years ago. Including the next part:
But then these people are usually wrangled onwards towards the next great hope-cope. Probably Xi and China will be portrayed as the great saviors.
A decade ago, I was wrangled towards Putin and Trump as “the next great hope-cope”[s]. And look at how they turned out.
I was never a Putin or Trump worshipper - I always had issues with them - but whatever respect I did have for them went out the window in 2017 when Trump bombed Syria and 2022 when Putin fumbled Ukraine.

That, apparently, is what ‘winning’ looks like according to ZAnon. Kiev will fall any day now …
Nonetheless I gritted my teeth and voted for Trump again in 2020 only because he was the … ‘lesser evil’. Which is still evil.
I did not make that mistake thrice in 2024. After rejecting CONvid and the fake-cine for years, how could I still support the self-proclaimed “father of the vaccine”?
And public ‘health’ aside, I knew Trump was a loyal servant of Godland.
Trump would do its bloody bidding. I just didn’t know when.
“[W]hen” turned out to be last week.
I wanted to say there is no blood on my hands this time. But there still is. Because I pay taxes.
In other words …

I’m still being played.

Amen, brother!
The real (word for opposite of cope?) is noting that your support means literally nothing. Nothing anyone is willing to do impacts policy outcomes, period. That's the painful truth no one will face. My utter lack of platform is directly proportional to how much truth I tell.
So don't feel bad. You never had any impact, good or bad.
